Professor of Neuro-Psychiatric Science, Tokyo Institute of Technology
Born in Fukushima Prefecture, 1948.
After graduating from the School of Medicine, Tokyo Medical and Dental
University, he was appointed to a research position at the University
of Paris by the Ministry of Education. His current post is Professor
at Tokyo Medical and Dental University and, as a Doctor of Medicine,
he specializes in mental health, mental pathology and criminal psychology.
Professor Kageyama has published several books including eEgopathy ?
Jiko no Byori no Jidaif (Egopathy-the Age of Pathology of Self), eKukyo
na Jiko no Jidaif (the Age of the Empty Self), eCho Nobita Shoukougunf
(Ultra Exhaustion Syndrome), eJiko wo Ushinatta Shonenntachif (The Boys
who Lost their eSelff), eNihon no Hanzaigakuf (Criminology of Japan),
etc. Other professional posts he concurrently holds include; Manager
of the University Mental Health Research Society, Director of the Japan
Social Psychology (Mental) Medical Society, and Inspector of the Japan
Criminology Society. He has been recognized for his work and, in 2002,
received the Japan Criminology Society Award.

Dr. YAMAGUCHI Chizuko |
Veterinary Inspector of Japan Animal Welfare
Society
Dr. Yamaguchi graduated in Veterinary Science, Faculty of Agriculture
of the Osaka Prefecture University in March 1975. Between 1979 and
1981, she received animal welfare training in Britain and Canada. She
qualified as an inspector of the RSPCA. In October 1981, after returning
to Japan, she took the post of Veterinary Inspector at the Japan Animal
Welfare Society.
Currently, Dr. Yamaguchi is a member of the Committee investigating
better systems for animal welfare and management by the Ministry of Environment
of Japan. She is also a member of the Animal Welfare and Management Committee
of Tokyo Prefecture, and the Animal Protection and Welfare Committee
of the Japan Veterinary Medical Association.
